Congrats to our Litigation and Mediation Attorney, Charles Schneider, for being appointed a hearing officer for the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy! This is Schneider’s third appointment as a state hearing office.
A neutral third-party known as a mediator helps the parties communicate, negotiate, and ultimately reach a voluntary resolution or settlement of their dispute. Mediation offers privacy and allows the parties to take control of their dispute, as well as allows the mediator to say something to the parties that their attorney cannot say.
Instead of public court proceedings and the uncertainty that comes with submitting a dispute to a judge or jury, the parties work confidentially with a mediator to reach an agreement amongst themselves which tends to be a cost-effective alternative to litigation.
We offer mediation services throughout the state of Ohio. Our mediators have years of litigation experience, court-appointed Magistrate experience and trial judge experience. We mediate all types of disputes, including but not limited to:
We understand the effort and patience it takes to help parties in a dispute find common ground. Our experience enables us to understand all sides of a dispute and to help parties facilitate a resolution. We help parties clarify their positions, interests and concerns and identify practical solutions. In addition to traditional in-person mediations, we also offer virtual mediations via Zoom when necessary.
