Driven by natural inquisitiveness and a dedication to uncovering creative solutions for her clients, Emily Dilloway is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment and Public Law Practice Groups. Her practice encompasses all areas of labor and employment law and litigation, with an emphasis on the intricacies tied to public sector jurisdictions. She works with government agencies and private clients in a broad range of employment and traditional labor law matters, including matters arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and its amendments, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.
Living by the philosophy that you are responsible for your own success, Emily initially started her career assisting with professional and client development for a large regional law firm, but quickly realized being a lawyer was a better fit as it enabled her to fix people’s problems and connect with all walks of life. She leverages her strong reading and writing skills, empathy, and relationship-building skills to advocate for the best interest of her clients.
Prior to serving as a law clerk with Isaac Wiles, Emily also served as a law clerk at other Ohio-based law firms, as well as the Business Publishing Editor for Capital University Law Review, Director of Public Relations for Capital University Law School Women’s Law Association and Co-President of the First-Generation Law Students.
When not busy practicing law, Emily enjoys trying new restaurants, taking in local farmer’s markets, traveling, friends and family.
