Isaac Wiles is seeking an attorney with 2–5 years of legal experience to join its Labor & Employment Law and Public Law Practice Groups. Individuals who apply should have experience: advising and representing employers and/or governments in areas of employment, labor, and municipal law; appearing before administrative agencies and/or courts on behalf of employers and governmental clients; negotiating collective bargaining agreements; representing employers in labor arbitrations; handing Open Meeting and Public Record matters; and preparing personnel policies and conducting employment investigations. The successful candidate also will have outstanding academic, analytical, research, writing, and communication skills. This position is partnership track and provides a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Isaac Wiles is seeking a paralegal skilled in family law matters. The ideal candidate has experience assisting attorneys in handling family law matters from start to finish and will work with 4 attorneys in a close knit, results-driven, and collegial practice group. The candidate will have strong experience in preparing discovery, organizing discovery documents, responding to discovery, inputting financial information into financial software (such as Family Law Software), preparing marital balance sheets, running child support guidelines, running spousal support calculations, performing some legal research (on a platform such as Lexis) and gathering and organizing exhibits and demonstrative or summary exhibits for trial. They will be able to work independently, are detail-oriented, establish and follow deadlines, and keep the attorneys they are working with updated on the status of their work. They must be technologically proficient and able to use the Microsoft suite of products as well as the other programs/services already mentioned. The paralegal’s work will include meetings and communications with clients to gather information, answer discovery, and the like.
