There is good news and some bad news for builders, developers, contractors and other business owners under the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act first effective for 2018.
If your business is a corporation that pays tax on its net income (a “C corporation”), the tax rate is now a flat 21% and is permanent (unless later changed by Congress).
